ITEM ONE: Past President AMA and Past President ATLA agree

Russ Herman, JD, Past President of ATLA (Association of Trial Lawyers of America) 1989-90, and Donald Palmisano, MD, JD, Past President of AMA (American Medical Association) 2003-2004, finally have found something they can both support: Louisiana ArtWorks.  Both are born and raised in New Orleans, and in one of those interesting New Orleans historical tidbits, their grandparents had businesses across the street from each other in the Irish Channel of New Orleans.   Russ' grandfather had a cabinet shop and Donald's grandfather had a restaurant and bar (Caronna's). Donald lived  on top of the  restaurant and  bar and Russ visited his grandfather on Magazine St.

Now in our advocacy for the Louisiana ArtWorks  we have something we share in addition to the obvious love for our grandparents.  The Board of the Louisiana Artworks asked us to give our views as to why this incubator for artists is so important.  You can see our photos and listen to our views at:

If the link gets scrambled as it crosses the Internet, just put Louisiana Artworks into Google and when you get to the home page of Louisiana Artworks, click on "Louisiana ArtWorks Support" on the right side of the page.

When you arrive at the link, note that there is an opportunity to donate.  In addition, be sure to check out the beautiful artwork of Louisiana artist, George Rodrigue.  His "Blue Dog", famous on many commercials and highly prized as wonderful art, is a special painting  he created and donated to Louisiana ArtWorks.  You can  get a signed  copy of the limited edition  for $1015.00.  The price includes shipping.  You can buy it online.  I added the image of the art into this email as suggested.  Hope your filter doesn't  block the entire email as it may show up as an attachment.
